Marty Sorrentino

 

Marty Sorrentino is an acclaimed real estate professional who serves New York City and Long Island from Manhattan to Montauk. Marty Sorrentino began his real estate career in 1986 as a  Residential Real Estate Appraiser. In 1993 he started his real estate sales career with a local  “mom and pop” brokerage but shortly joined a large franchise company. In 2003 Marty joined the RE/MAX Network. In addition to his work as a real estate appraiser and broker, Marty has served as a coach for real estate brokers through the Darryl Davis Seminars-International Real Estate Training Company.  
 
During Marty’s 24 year real estate career, he has achieved many milestones and is respected by his peers for his work ethic and commitment to fulfilling clients’ dreams of homeownership.  Throughout Marty’s professional career he has been dedicated to outstanding customer service, a sincere interest in people, and the consistent adoption of the “pay it forward” mindset.  Marty Sorrentino is continually committed to looking for ways to help other people, and to help them as they help others.
 
It is the result of Marty Sorrentino’s professional work ethic and life philosophy that he has obtained outstanding professional success.   Marty has had the distinction of receiving a number of real estate awards including the President’s Club from 1996-2002, Chairman’s Club in 2003, and the Platinum Club from 2004-2005 and 2008.  In 2007 Marty Sorrentino had the honor of being inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.  This honor is awarded to RE/MAX agents who have made over $1,000,000 in actual income.  Marty achieved this level in just three years, with  only the top 1% of RE/MAX  brokers attaining this honor in this time frame.  It is his professional distinction that he has become known as “Mr. RE/MAX” in his community.
 
Marty Sorrentino’s philosophy of “paying it forward” also pertains to his professional colleagues.  He is a member of Business Network International, the National Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, and the Long Island Board of Realtors.  Since 2007 he has served as a coach for Darryl Davis Seminars-International Real Estate Training Company.  He has trained over 50 agents and during that training he has emphasized the importance of outstanding customer service whether the customers are other real estate professionals or individuals seeking to buy or sell homes. 
 
During Marty Sorrentino’s non-working hours, he devotes considerable time to community service.  He has served on the Merrick and Wantagh Chambers of Commerce, the Wantagh High School Band Wagon, a parent organization that helps fund the Wantagh High School Band.  In addition, he has served on the Wantagh High School Budget Advisory Committee, and has lectured students from the Wantagh Middle School on possible career paths in the real estate field.  Marty Sorrentino has also volunteered his time to serve the Island Harvest Food Drive, the Children’s Miracle Network, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Wantagh Little League, the Cub Scouts, and the Blood Center’s annual blood drive.  Marty Sorrentino truly practices what he preaches; he does “Pay It Forward”.
 
On Long Island, Marty Sorrentino received his Associate of Applied Science degree from Nassau Community College in 1976.  After receiving an academic scholarship to Hofstra University, Marty obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 1978.  Marty currently lives in Wantagh, New York with his wife Tamara, their daughter and son, their eight cats and two dogs.
